Probably the most visited restaurant in the village, Olondi is known by its sumptuous fish platters served only steps from the sea.

However, if you are not a fan of fish and seafood, you still won’t be disappointed as their menu offers a variety of classic Cretan dishes, including grilled meat and salads.

If you’re looking for a romantic venue serving great food, this is the place to choose!

Taverna Spinalonga

Located opposite the imposing view of Spinalonga Island, this taverna in Plaka is a must-go place for some of the best food in the area!

The place has ravishing reviews. It serves delicious seafood and pasta dishes, as well as Cretan cuisine starters, including dakos, cheese and spinach kalitsounia pies deep fried in Extra virgin olive oil and kolokithokeftedes (zucchini fritters). In this taverna, you will also find delicious salads, fish cooked to perfection, and a refreshing atmosphere right by the sea.

Moon Spinners Restaurant

Situated in a dreamy location in Elounda, overlooking the Mirabello Bay, this is a fantastic place for dinner if you’re looking to enjoy good food and amazing views! The kitchen prepares classic Cretan and Greek cuisine, but also a variety of meat and fish dishes.

It’s always a good idea to book a table if you want to dine in prime position. You can also request a private dining experience in the venue’s private yacht or at the seaside.

Ocean Restaurant
