Beaches, Parks & the Best of Chania

As I’ve told you before, just a short walk away from the complex, you can fine some of Creteโ€™s most loved beaches. Chryssi Akti (Golden Beach) and Agioi Apostoli are two my my kids’ favorite beaches in town.

These are two family-friendly beaches, with a shallow and clear coastline, featuring golden sand and a fun vibe for kids.

Agioi Apostoli Beach.

Besides, if you’re looking to include a bit of green in your routine, you will find a fantastic nearby park, right opposite the shore, that offers shaded paths for walks or jogs, and playgrounds where kids can run free.

In the area, you can also discover fantastic Cretan restaurants and tavernas. And for young travelers, the best bars and discos in Platanias are just a short ride away (you can get there by car and taxi, yet it’s also easy to reach Platanias by public bus).

Eclipse, Platanias.

So, from the comfort of the hotel, youโ€™ll be just minutes from Agia Marina and Platanias, only a 10-minute drive from Chaniaโ€™s Venetian Harbor, as well as close to markets, and museums.

Rental cars are easily arranged, but even without one, local buses and taxis make getting around a breeze!

Why to Choose Theos Village

Family-first feel: Personally, this is a key feature I have learned to enjoy and look for when checking out accommodation on the island for me and my kids. Over here, you will find authentic hospitality with heart.

Spacious stays: Apartments are designed for real comfort and relaxation, have open spaces, bright balconies, and comfy amenities for those who enjoy making a cup of coffee in the morning before heading to the pool for breakfast, just like me!

Unbeatable location: This is one of the most convenient areas to stay in Chania, with fantastic beaches, and ample parks. Parking in the area is not as chaotic as in town, and yet, the city center is within reach. You will also find plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, shops, pharmacies, banks, and all you might need.

Relaxed luxury: This might not be the idea of top luxury you imagine when you picture a resort. But it indeed is a luxurious retreat for those seeking peaceful vacation and a poolside setting that invites you to slow down and live the best of the island.

Theos Village in the quiet Kato Daratsos Area.

As you can see, Theos Villageoffers the kind of laid-back comfort thatโ€™s hard to find and even harder to forget. Here, itโ€™s not just about where you sleepโ€”itโ€™s about how you feel while you’re there.

ℹ️ This review is based on my personal opinion of the premises and is, as usual, my own and unbiased.
