What to do in Easter in Crete

1. Participate in traditional processions

In Chania, you can choose to witness a more intimate celebration in the small Korakies Nunnery, on the Akrotiri Peninsula, where the nuns welcome visitors with a touching mass. Gouverneto Monastery, also on the Akrotiri Peninsula is another of the monasteries locals choose to attend Easter Saturday Mass.
